Fabrication and processing of materials sold here, (cutting, sawing, polishing, grinding, breaking, crushing, drilling, sanding, or sculpting etc.) will generate dust that contains harmful chemicals subject to Proposition 65. Unprotected and uncontrolled exposure to such dust is dangerous to your health and can cause several illnesses such as silicosis, lung cancer, fibrosis of the lungs, tuberculosis, kidney diseases, abrasions of the cornea, and irritation of the skin and eyes.

Products sold here such as Quartzite, Granite, Marble, Limestone, Travertine, Porcelain, Quartz, Glass, Hardwood, Vinyl, Laminate, and Ceramic in forms of slab, tile, plank or mosaic might contain different levels of chemicals including silica, crystalline, (airborne particles of respirable size), which are known to the State of California to cause cancer, and lead, which are known to the State of California to cause birth defects or other reproductive harm.

Always handle in a well-ventilated area and wear a properly fitting appropriate mask when fabricating or processing.

Pre-existing physical conditions or disorders may aggravate the adverse effects of exposure to silica dust. Wherever this product is fabricated and /or processed, a silica control program shall be in place in accordance with all the applicable laws, regulations, orders, and directives. The permissible exposure limits to silica dust shall also be adhered to.

FIRST AID: If irritation of the eyes or skin is experienced, flush the area immediately with plenty of water. If breathing difficulties are experienced, move outdoors into fresh air. In event of physical discomfort, consult a physician.
